Welcome in our luxury holiday residence, The White House. Private, elegant, space in the heart of Ardennes for groups of 10 to 12 persons.
The residence
Our story
- The White House was previously a well-known hotel in the region that has been built in 1960. We bought this hotel in December 2021 and entirely renovated it until March 2023.
- Our main idea when renovating the hotel was to be able to offer you an experience that you would receive when staying at a luxury hotel within a cosy atmosphere. If you are searching for a place that will offer you comfort, cosiness and an atmosphere that enables you to make long-lasting (family) memories, you will be more than satisfied with your choice.
- The residence is located on a private domain of 86 acres and entirely fenced with a big entrance gate, ensuring your entire privacy during your stay. The only neighbour that may encounter are one of the horses, sheep or goats than are residing in the grasslands next to the residence.
Particularities
Ground floor
You will enter the White house by first passing through the entrance hall. If you decide to go straight you will emerge yourself in the voluminous and luminous porch with a warm fireplace. This will be an excellent venue to have dinner while looking outside at our magnificent garden.
If you decide do go to the left, you will enter our house and encounter our cosy room where you can pool while having a drink. If you continue straight, you will be welcomed by our magnificent television screen where you will have the sensation to be at a movie theatre.
On the same ground floor, you will also find a British style lounge room with a library where you can enjoy your favourite drink, read a book books or simply watch your favourite game on television.
Next to the lounge room, you will have our kitchen, where you can cook your favourite dish or explore your cooking talents. The kitchen is fully equipped, so no need to worry to bring anything. Everything will be at your disposition, including of course an Nespresso machine, a filter coffee machine and the traditional Italian “mokka”, an oven and microwave, a fridge and freezer. No need to worry about doing the dishes neither with our dishwasher.
Last, there will be a “play room” for the children (or adults) to play ping pong, table soccer and other games. Next to this room, you will also find a washing machine and dryer.
Particularities
First and second floor
We will be able to host up to 12 persons. There are three rooms located on the first floor and another three rooms on the second floor. All of the six rooms have a comfortable double bed and are equipped with a big screen television. The six rooms have their own bathroom. Four of the rooms have a shower and two of them have a bathtub.
Outside
You will be able to enjoy an entirely private domain where privacy will be guaranteed. In our domain, you can find a tennis field, a jacuzzi, a petanque (“boules”) court, two patio’s with sunbeds, a gas barbecue, a lounge set with a fire ring and a hammock.
